The Florida School Choice Resource Center Advisory Board helps guide the Center in meeting the goals and objectives of the project, as well as the public school choice needs in South Florida.
The Advisory Board is made up of public school choice leaders and stakeholders from different school choice programs (magnet programs, charter schools, career academies). Board members also come from school district offices across the state.
Parents are encouraged to join the Florida School Choice Resource Center Advisory Board, and be a part of our efforts to sustain grant funding. We are looking for applicants with expertise in the following areas:
- Florida Department of Education, two - three representatives from various offices
- Community Business one –two representatives
- Community Organization one –two representatives
- A Business Community (ABC) School Program Representative
- Controlled Open Enrollment Representative
- Career and Technical Education (Career Academies) Representative
- Magnet School Representative
- District School Choice Representative
- Advanced Placement (AP) Program Representative
- Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) Program Representative
- Dual Enrollment Representative
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program Representative
- Title-I - No Child Left Behind Choice: SES Representative
- Title-I - No Child Left Behind Choice: Choice with Transportation Representative
- Opportunity Scholarship Representative
- McKay Scholarship Representatives
- Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Representative
- Private School Representative
- Public Charter School Representative
- Virtual School Representative
- Military Family Choice Representative
